Well, isn't that pretty much what backing "democracy" in Egypt amounts to?  Are the lessons of Palestinian "democracy" and the power bonanza Hamas reaped from it in Gaza six years ago to be ignored?

On the other hand, I suppose that makes it more likely that, unlike with the genuinely democratic uprising in Islamist Iran two years ago that his deafening silence helped crush, this time morphing into a defender of Islacracy will have a belated appeal - and we'll end up with end up with an Islamist megastate blue plate special.  Who says Red Barry knows nothing of efficiency?
