The House Will Be The Filibuster

Tomorrow, Harry Reid has scheduled a vote to cut the heart out of the filibuster and other Senate rules that stopped Big Labor's power grabs the last two years.

Not only that, Big Labor's puppet politicians in the Senate are violating established Senate procedure requiring 67 votes for a rule change -- and instead are scheming to ram it through with only 51 votes!

That means the vote count could be razor-thin, and that's why it's vital you contact your U.S. Senators immediately and urge them to protect the filibuster.

Tell them to vote no on Senate Resolution 10, or any other attempt to weaken the filibuster or other Senate rules protecting the minority party.

Remember, grassroots pressure from concerned citizens like you demanding a filibuster against Big Labor power grabs kept Harry Reid from ramming through the Card Check Forced Unionism Bill and Police and Firefighter Monopoly Bargaining Bill last year.

In fact, Big Labor front group "American Rights at Work" is now lobbying to destroy the filibuster for that very reason.

The union bosses and their pro-forced unionism allies in Congress are plotting to cheat and change the rules so they can push through unpopular, dangerous legislation designed to give them more control over American workers and the entire economy.

You see, the filibuster has protected workers and taxpayers from Big Labor power grabs for decades. Had Harry Reid's rules been in place in the past...

... LBJ would have repealed section 14(b) of the Taft-Hartley Act in 1966 – and with it every state Right to Work Law in the land.

... Jimmy Carter would have rammed George Meany's Labor Law "Reform" bill into law in 1978, herding hundreds of thousands of workers into unions against their will.

... Bill Clinton's Construction Forced Unionism legislation would have turned America's largest industry into a massive closed union shop.

... And Barack Obama's Card Check and Police/Firefighter Monopoly Bargaining thank you notes to Big Labor would be further strangling America's economy and local first responders today.

Insist they oppose Senate Resolution 10 in tomorrow's vote, or any other attempt by Harry Reid and his Big Labor-appeasing pals to cheat and change the rules with only 51 votes.

The union bosses are putting massive pressure on every Senator to violate two centuries of precedent and destroy the minority party's ability to block legislation the American people do not support.

It's vital you act right away.

Sincerely,

Mark Mix
