Bachmann 2012?

Whaddya think? I certainly could vote for her - hey, how about a Palin/Bachmann ticket? Wouldn't that just drive the lefties NUTS? We could turn their stupidity around on them - how dare they attack a ticket with two women? Why, they're just misogynistic! After all, we're all racists for criticizing Obama, so turn about's fair play, right? I know, I know, we don't want to sink to their level. But - wouldn't you love to see Bachmann or Palin in a debate with Obama? I think they'd mop the floor with him. Realistically, though...I'd like to see Daniels/Bachmann or Palin or Pawlenty/Bachmann or Palin on a ticket. WHOEVER it is has to be 100% better than what we're stuck with now.

JASmius adds: WhadIthink?  I think it's a terrible idea.  I think a sitting U.S. representative hasn't been elected President since James A. Garfield in 1880.  I think Bachmann's running would be as a vanity candidate.  I think she'd kneecap any conservative contenders who might actually be nominatable, much less electable.  I think her candidacy would be a Godsend for Mitt Romney.  I think she'd be better off challenging Amy Klobuchar for the U.S. Senate from Minnesota, but doesn't think she could win.  I think she fears she can't even get re-elected to her House seat next year and wants to score her fame and fortune while she's got the chance.

Bottom line: It's not serious.  Bachmann's not serious.  And given that Obama'll have a billion dollars to throw at whoever challenges him, we've got to nominate somebody who can beat him.  And "Anybody but Obama" ain't gonna cut it.
