Finally, The GOP Plays Hardball
....in Wisconsin:
Two Democratic state senators said they think Republicans plan to pass parts of Governor Scott Walker’s proposal that take away collective bargaining rights from public workers without them.
Senate Republican leaders weren’t saying why they hastily created a conference committee that’s meeting later Wednesday night.
A source confirmed to WISC-TV that Republican senators intend to remove fiscal portions of the budget bill in order to pass it without Democratic senators.
About frakking time. Wisconsin senate 'Pubbies should have done this the day the fleebaggers bugged out of Cheeseland. All trying to be "reasonable" accomplished was to allow Big Labor to agitate and profanicate and threaten and otherwise show the country what violent, extremist assholes they really are. Which is what they'd have done anyway, but nixing this the fleebagging tactic early-on would have ensured that it was pointless puerile rage instead of intimidation and muscle-flexing.
For the record, the conference committee approved the measure and the GOP caucus passed it 18-1. Now it'll move to the state courts in some finagled, worked, garishly partisan fashion. But for now: Up yours, Jackasses.
UPDATE: Dig deep enough beneath public insurrection and you'll always find the Agitator-In-Chief behind it somewhere.
