Just Thinkin'...

Being unable to transcribe for a few days due to carpal tunnel surgery has given me a little more reading and thinking time than usual. I can't help but wonder how the heck we let Barack Obama become President. I mean, are there really that many unthinking, gullible people in this country? Obviously that's a rhetorical question, because obviously there are. That's a very scary thought. Even with the so-called "new media," talk radio and such - this country still chose an inexperienced, extremely liberal, dishonest man with loads of baggage and bad associations as President. John McCain certainly was not the best candidate we could have chosen, but he was head and shoulders above Barack Obama in the areas of integrity and honor, especially. The more we learn about him, the more obvious it is that he is a socialist, determined to steer America toward socialism. I'm not the least bit fooled by his act of becoming more moderate. Unfortunately, many Americans are easily sucked in by the media's determination to make him more palatable to as many people as possible. Have we learned anything from his many failures, or are we going to allow the media to entice us into letting him continue to systematically tear this country down? Only time will tell.
