Not All "Islamophobes" Are Created Equal

Here's a phrase I don't type every day - Bill Maher is right:

Make that deafeningly quiet. There hasn’t been a peep from the Huffington Post or Daily Kos. The editorial boards of the New York Times and Washington Post have been uncharacteristically mum.

Naturally.  Maher's only trying to help Islam join the modern age, y'see.  But if, say, Glenn Beck says the same thing in far more diplomatic terms, well he's just a hater, dontcha know.

No fatwas will come Maher's way, because all the Left's fatwas are aimed at conservatives.  But if any Islamist retribution does come, well, everybody knows that rightwingers will have "inspired" them, if not actively put them up to it, right?
