Poop On Social Security

Maybe ex-Wyoming Senator Alan Simpson is the real-life Abe Simpson:

As in cantankerous and confused.  Red Barry's phony-baloney "debt commission" may not have recommended privatizing Social Security, but that's the only way to "save" it, as well as the country from insolvency and total collapse.  While Abe is at it, maybe he can explain what interest young people have in a ponzi scheme that EVERYBODY KNOWS is never going to be there when - or, rather, if - they ever get to retire.  Hell, I know it isn't going to be there when I'M scheduled to retire.  Who's he think he's fooling?

Simpson was a lot closer to the truth last summer with his remark about Social Security as currently constituted being “a milk cow with 310 million tits”.  Combine that with this scatalogical imagery and you've got a decent downpayment on the deep shit we're all in.
