RINOs To The Rescue

Governor Scott Walker announced yesterday an audacious plan.

In the wake of the outrageous behavior of state Senators who refuse to allow the democratic process to work and are stubbornly stopping a full vote, Scott Walker announced his two-year budget plan.

This plan lays off 22,000 state employees and cuts $1.5 billion in aid to localities.

Clearly, Governor Walker is making the tough choices Washington and the Obama White House refuse to make.

You can bet that Obama and friends absolutely fear what Scott Walker is doing.

If Governor Walker succeeds it will send shockwaves across the nation, allowing other states, cities and even Washington lawmakers to slash spending while holding the bloated public employee unions accountable.

It is unacceptable the public employees believe they have a right to make 25% or more in salary than their same hard-working, private sector counterparts.

Today, the country is in the worst recession in modern times. Things are not looking better.

We are all making economic sacrifices.

But the big public employee unions have had a near stranglehold on federal, state and local budgets.

Frankly, they are strangling you and me, the taxpayer!

Wisconsin was once a very “Blue” liberal state.

But the taxpayers have awoken. They are saying, “No more.”

The Obama White House and liberal, pro-union groups are pouring tens of millions into Wisconsin to stop Scott Walker.

The League of American Voters, a pro-taxpayer group I support, is standing with Gov. Scott Walker.

Thanks to your help they have radio ads blanketing the state, and telephone calls being made to voters.

Their work is really critical. Here’s why.

The well-funded left is trying to pressure Republican lawmakers to “compromise” and cave in to the unions demands.

Sadly, some Republicans are beginning to crack.

One is Republican State Senator Dale Schultz. He is breaking from Governor Walker’s ranks and supporting a “compromise.” He is apparently urging other Republicans to follow his lead.

We must stop waffling Senators like Dale Schultz and urge voters and legislators to stand with Scott Walker.

Thanks to your generosity, the League has held the line in Wisconsin with its outreach to millions of voters.

And liberal groups have even started attacking the League, demanding they stop their efforts.

The League won’t stop.

But they need help.

Right now, they want to increase their efforts by rolling a TV ad campaign across the state.

They also want to target waffling Senators like Dale Schultz, by exposing their positions to their constituents.

Thank you.

Yours,

Dick Morris
