While The Donk Deficit Mounts, Congress Leaves Town

Even though the nation is $14 trillion in debt and borrowing 40 cents for every dollar the government spends, what does Congress do? They take the week off. After all, it's "Constituent Work Week." Well, we're constituents! We need you to help us tell our Representatives and Senators that they can better represent us, their constituents, by hopping the first flight back to D.C. and getting back to work on solving the budget deficit. And since "National Organize Your Home Office Day" also falls during this week, Congress should reorganize their own office priorities and put the welfare of their constituents and the best interests of the country first. After all, the NCPA's experts could be conducting some of our desk-side meetings with elected officials and their staffs or testifying before Congressional Committees. We could even hold one of our Capitol Hill briefings or National Press Club news events, but Congress left town. If you see any of your Senators or Representative, tell them about our efforts to educate policy makers and the media about sorely needed health care, tax, retirement and free-market economic reforms. We need your continued support to make this work. Click here to find out how. Warm regards, |
