Walker: Unions Won't Steal Prosser Election Win

Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker has been savaged by the media because he stood up for taxpaying Americans everywhere like you and me.

He is a true American hero.

Scott Walker laid his good name on the line for us, and Obama’s bloated public union allies spent millions to destroy him.

Believe it or not, they are still pouring millions into Wisconsin to stop Scott Walker.

Threats of violence, dirty tricks, smears. Frankly, the big unions and Obama allies have been engaged in despicable activity.

And the big media will never tell the truth about Scott Walker, only lies.

That’s why the League of American Voters’ campaign to support Scott Walker is so important.

Through our new radio ad — and hundreds of thousands of pro-Scott Walker phone calls the League has made to Wisconsin residents — we have made a huge difference.

The liberal media said Scott Walker would be defeated at the polls last week, with his candidate for Supreme Court going down in defeat.

But Scott Walker’s candidate won!

Now, the League of American Voters doesn’t get involved in elections. That’s not our job.

But we do tell the public the truth about public policy issues.

Clearly, our education campaign in Wisconsin and across the nation has made a huge difference.

But Obama and his allies in the big public employee unions are not finished with Scott Walker.

They continue to run ads and other efforts to smear him.

That’s why it’s so important for you and me to continue to support Scott Walker.

Thanks to your support, it’s already aired widely throughout Wisconsin, and it’s had quite an impact.

But we need to keep it on the air as the big public unions escalate their attacks on Scott Walker and the senators.

Folks across Wisconsin are praising Governor Scott Walker . . . he stood strong for better schools with real accountability . . . and he took on a $3.6 billion dollar deficit that could have bankrupted us. Walker put the future of our children first by standing up to government unions with their big benefits and automatic pay raises . . . benefits we have to pay for. Don't let the government unions fool you: This was a fight to save our schools and protect Wisconsin taxpayers. Scott Walker led the fight . . . and won . . . for us.

The League’s ongoing campaign will restore Scott Walker’s good name, and keep momentum behind his historic reforms.

We need these reforms to be imitated throughout America.

The League — with your help — is making this happen. Together, we won a hard-fought victory for Wisconsin by defeating Obama’s public union allies.

We also need to keep Obama’s corrupt public union allies on the ropes so they don’t reverse our huge victory.

The big public unions have launched recall campaigns against eight of the state Senators who stood strong with Scott Walker.

The League must continue its efforts to expose the big unions.
