The Debt Deal

Well, seems there are many people whom I admire who don't think it's so bad...and many others whom I admire who think it's a disaster and a trap for Republicans. Many over at NRO are in the former camp, but conservative giants like Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin think it's awful. What to make of this? Personally, I'm leaning toward the Limbaugh/Levin camp. I realize that since we only hold the House, we're limited on what we can achieve. On the other hand, I agree with Rush that we should have made the Democrats come up with something rather than doing all the heavy lifting ourselves. Along with that comes the blame when things go wrong, fair or not. Seems to me like we let Obama off the hook a bit here. I could be wrong, and I fervently hope so. Guess we'll see.
