"President Obama, this is your army"

Dear Jim,
"President Obama, this is your army," Teamster union chief Jimmy Hoffa declared at a Labor Day political rally in Detroit.
What he said next was even more disturbing.
"We are ready to march. Let's take these sons of bitches out and give America back to an America where we belong."
When Barack Obama took the stage, he told the crowd of union operatives he's "proud" of Hoffa -- before taking aim at grassroots citizens like you turning up the heat on politicians to protect the Right to Work.
"When I hear some of this talk I know this is not about economics," Obama said of Right to Work. "This is about politics."
Of course, he's flat-out wrong on economics. Right to Work states enjoy more private-sector job growth than forced-unionism states.
All Obama has to do is look at his own National Labor Relations Board's attack on Boeing workers in Right to Work South Carolina.
But even Obama is right about one thing -- the battle for employee freedom IS about politics.
That's because Big Labor enjoys a special privilege under federal labor law.
Union bosses get to spend other people's money on politics -- and in many cases demand any worker who refuses to pay be fired.
That forced dues for politics scheme is precisely what enables Big Labor to launch an "army" on behalf of the politicians who agree to push through more union-boss power grabs.
It was no accident that the rally was held in Detroit, where collusion between Big Labor and Big Government reached new heights in the auto bailout.
Meanwhile, union militants are threatening to go on strike against Ford, the only "Big Three" Detroit automaker that didn't receive a bailout. Not surprisingly, media reports now say Ford is looking to build their next major production facility outside of the U.S. -- and some reports explicitly cite Big Labor's power as a reason why.
With the unemployment rate hovering over 9%, the consequences of forced unionism and the policies championed by union bosses -- higher taxes, bigger government, more bailouts -- are clear.
And yet President Obama is set to announce yet another "jobs" proposal this week, almost as if he's blissfully unaware of his Labor Board's assault on job providers and workers who dare to refrain from union membership.
The Obama Administration's record on jobs speaks for itself.
And Hoffa's over-the-line rhetoric speaks volumes. Union bosses like Hoffa haven't asked their allies in the White House to do anything to create new jobs.
Instead they've asked the Obama Regime to protect and expand Big Labor's forced-dues empire.
That's why the National Right to Work Committee's legislative initiatives are so vital.
Please help the Committee mobilize millions of Americans on the National Right to Work Act, the Protecting Jobs from Government Interference Act, and other critical legislation that promotes both jobs and freedom.
Unlike Hoffa's forced-dues "army," we rely entirely on the voluntary, dedicated support of concerned citizens like you.
And I'm proud to work with you in the struggle for worker freedom.
Sincerely,

Mark Mix
