Undo Obama's Mess

Fellow Conservative: The 2012 election season has begun and most Americans are rightly focused on the presidential campaign. But the presidential campaign is not the only race that will determine our nation's future. We must also build a conservative majority in the U.S. Senate in 2012 to undo the mess President Obama has created.

I'm U.S. Senator Jim DeMint and I'm writing to respectfully request your immediate assistance. The third quarter FEC reporting deadline is just days away and Ted Cruz -- conservative candidate for U.S. Senate in Texas -- needs your urgent help.

Ted Cruz is currently one of only two candidates to receive the Good Housekeeping seal of approval from my leadership PAC, the Senate Conservatives Fund. He's a principled leader with an outstanding record, and he has the courage to stand up to the big spenders in both political parties.

However, Ted is running against a well-known Republican with deep pockets. His opponent is ducking public events and plans to buy the election at the last minute using millions of dollars in self-financed television and radio ads. Texas deserves better and America needs more.

Winning this race won't be easy but if freedom-loving Americans lock arms and work together to help Ted Cruz, he can win this primary and become the next U.S. Senator from Texas.

These leaders shut down the earmark favor factory and helped get every Republican in the Senate to support the full repeal of ObamaCare and a strong Balanced Budget Amendment.

We made real gains in 2010 but we need more reinforcements in 2012 if we're going to stop the massive spending, bailouts, and debt.

The key to winning this race is for conservatives to unite behind Ted Cruz and help him raise the support he needs to get his message out and defeat the establishment.
