EBC Missionaries Of The Week: Joe & Karla Beard

Joe began missionary work in 1991 in Haiti serving with Unevangelized Fields Mission.  After he married Karla in 1993, they moved their efforts to the Russian Federation and served there for four years.  In 2000 they moved to Slovakia for five years.  In 2005 they joined Village Missions, and in 2007 Joe was called to pastor McCleary Community Church.

The Beards continued to serve at MCC, loving the ministry to which the LORD has called them and are excited by the spiritual growth they have seen in their church.  Joe's days are filled with sermon preparation, Bible studies and family, while Karla leads a ladies' Bible study.
