Pro-Israel Ad Slams Occupy Wall Street
Liberty News Network has been covering the Occupy Wall Street "movement" since September 18th, long before most media outlets even knew it existed. We've looked at the differences between the tea party and the occupiers, we've shown how members of the occupy movement assault tea partiers, and we've questioned possible White House support.
Unfortunately, our latest round of coverage involves a much more sinister, more hateful tone within the Occupy movement. Specifically, a level of hatred towards Israel that exists within the ranks of the protests. Videos have been posted here and there over the past few weeks, but none are quite as profound as the recent video showing former LA Unified School District Employee Patricia McAllister calling for Jews to be run out of America. Fortunately, Patricia McAllister was fired this week over her comments. That didn't stop her from stepping up the hate and digging even deeper in her racist rants against Jews.
A group called the Emergency Committee for Israel is swinging back with a new ad slamming the Occupy Wall Street hate.
According to the About page, the Emergency Committee for Israel's mission includes:
The Emergency Committee for Israel seeks to provide citizens with the facts they need to be sure that their public officials are supporting a strong US-Israel relationship. The Committee's mission is to educate the public about the serious challenges to Israel's security and about what elected officials in this country are doing and should do in order to meet those challenges.
It's unfortunate a group such as this even needs to exist. It's also amazing that a protest movement can so easily claim the tea party is filled with hatred and bigotry, when hate appears to be widespread pillars of their own membership.
